Welcome to LMA Project Page

This page is dedicated to the translation of LMA’s vision and mission into tangible projects geared towards implementing our MACCTOG Strategy to the benefit of our members, communities, nations and the global world economies. In the implementation process, LMA combines this effectiveness with the inclusion of experts drawn from different but relative fields and international organisations operating with a global synergy in mind as we carefully but genuinely seek the betterment of our society in general and its associated common concerns. These concerns are raised in the LMA MACCTOG Strategy that uses:

Training

Seminars, summits, mentors and CPD (Continuous Personal/Professional Development) to raise great leaders with the target issues including but not limited to:

  • Equality among genders
  • Empowerment for better tomorrow
  • Coaching for success
  • Youth leadership and Continuous Professional Development
  • Personal leadership through basic social responsibility education and conferences

Community

National activities, agriculture, networking and education are realised through the above key drivers and the following:

  • Impacting entrepreneurship through agriculture, e.g. farming; livestock.
  • Providing practical information on bio-technology in agriculture in Africa.
  • Working with the communities and government on general hygiene and health issues e.g HIV/AIDS, malaria eradication and diabetes.
  • Assisting the government departments on re-education on decentralisation as resource organisation.
  • Gender education with emphasis on the female gender.
  • Local & international volunteering opportunities.
  • Basic life skills on developmental issues.
  • Working hand in hand with the police and other security organisations to fight crime in the communities.
  • Moral skills e.g. discipline among the youth.
  • Employability skills to increase youth capacity building.
  • Promotion of social responsibility among citizens and community leaders.
  • Discovering potentials through practical one-to-one coaching and mentoring activities.
  • Equipping with leadership skills through community pilot schemes on energy and affordable homes.

Corporate

Businesses; partners and consultancies:

  • Internship & job placement workshops focussed on reducing unemployment.
  • Business advice and coaching consultancy to companies and firms with the intention to enhance rapid growth and development in selected industries such as food and agriculture, housing, health and finance.
  • Regular seminars with experts in other business fields to create competitive synergy among corporations.
  • Placement opportunities with emphasis on youth empowerment through effective leadership and management skills.

Organisations

International and local organisations:
Affiliate with other international organisations sharing and working tirelessly to fight against gender discrimination; human rights abuse; child trafficking; child slavery; prostitution; income inequality; poverty and drug-trafficking as well as drug abuse. Partner with both international and local NGOs to promote Africa and its resources to enhance increased development in the areas of:

  • Human capital building
  • Eradication of poverty through education
  • Increased knowledge and provision of ICT and other educational technologies
  • Fight against HIV/AIDS
  • Wealth creation in Africa through entrepreneurship workshops
  • LMA members available for volunteering

Governments


  • Voters and citizens education on elections and constitution
  • Citizens advice bureau on key community developmental issues such as industry location in a community
  • Political campaign education for politicians for fair elections
  • Collaborate on affordable housing projects to reduce pressure on congested cities
  • Team up with governmental departments to uphold human rights through re-education, etc
  • International voluntary placements

 

The above projects in their respective categories have experts drawn from the general public of the respective country in Africa to implement. The overall direction and supervision shall be borne by the LMA Project Committee which is made up of the leadership of LMA, Selected Mentors of LMA and 3 other individuals carefully selected from the professional field whose hearts reflect the MACCTOG Strategy.
